Invitation to free Architect Talk by James Stockwell

Wilkinson Award Winning Leura House and Kalkite Mountain House

James Stockwell is a Director of James Stockwell Design

James Stockwell Architect is based in Surry Hills Sydney. Projects are predominantly residential in landscape settings and have included apartments. The practice is also currently documenting a purpose built preschool at Leura in the Blue Mountains.

Buildings are in progress in locations around New South Wales and in Western Australia.

Practice Philosophy: A ‘machine for living’ approach with a small pallet of natural materials to achieve contemporary autonomous buildings. Test new ways of achieving passive solar performance by prototyping systems and taking a closer look at climate and geology to generate unique solutions.
